Orillion invests in the Orin Group / ratiopharm ulm

Orillion is proud to announce the investment in the Orin Group, the owner of ratiopharm ulm, the German Bundesliga Basketball team. In line with our strategy to back unique assets in professional sports, we believe that ratiopharm ulm brings a proven track record of sporting and commercial success that we can help accelerate. The strong management team set out a strategy 26 years ago and delivered on it in excellent manner. While Basketball is the cornerstone of this investment, we believe that the Orin Group has various other important businesses that we intend to support in developing, most notably the Orange Gym and the TOG e-Sports team.

In 2025 two players from ratiopharm ulm were first round picks in the NBA draft, showing a best in class talent development. In addition, the team was the Bundesliga champion in 2023 and finalist in 2025.

The Orillion eco-system will support the Orin Group in realising its global potential through targeted partnerships and collaborations.
